2009 Hyundai Elantra Touring
Hyundai's brand has come leaps and bounds since what most Americans remember. The Hyundai Genesis has brought us not only a Lexus fighter V8 Sedan, but also the Genesis Coupe, ready for a jaunt up mountain roads. The 2009 Hyundai Elantra Touring is no different. Somewhat similar to a Mazda 3 hatchback, the Elanta Toruing is a lower cost alternative to many of its competitors in this new compact car segment. The interior is very well appointed with well suited materials, classy dashboard, and comfortable seats. Power is driven to its front wheels via a 2.0-liter, 138-horsepower engine, matched to either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. The Touring is fun to drive, but its main selling point is its cavernous hatch – which can swallow bicycles, golf clubs, and Home Depot runs.
